90’s Television Shows-What Were Your Favourites?

Being born in the late 80’s means I don’t remember a large amount of 80’s shows-I’m really a true 90’s girl at heart.

One of my favourite shows was Fun House (hence my insistence it needs to come back HERE).  I always wanted to be on that show-I genuinely thought I’d be amazing at it!

I asked some of my lovely blogger friends what their favourites were!

Emma
from emmareed.net said; I have to say Friends was my favourite. My Mum, me and my sister would all sit around and watch it. The jokes were great, the characters were relatable and I think it’s a show that you can just sit and watch over and over- which I still do with comedy central!- and even though you know the lines you still love it!

Alex from Better Together Home said; Sabrina the Teenage Witch – loved Salem’s sarcasm, the ditzy Aunts and Harvey Kinkle *swoon*.

Lauren from Scrapbook Blog said;  I loved ‘The Secret World of Alex Mack‘ partly because it was American and I loved that ‘ideal’ of small town America and partly because she could turn into liquid!

Azaria from Being Mrs Lynch said; Sister Sister was a definite favourite for me! I think because I am an only child I would dream of bumping into a long lost sister as I always wanted a sibling. Silly but it is true.

Lynette from Reclusive Fox said; The X Files is such a classic. The conspiracies, the fashion, the crazy stories. Such pure fun. Especially watching back now.

Lisa from Mummy Gummie Blog said; Loved Saved by the Bell! Like a teenager version of friends!

Beth from Twinderelmo said;  I was obsessed with Nickelodeon so aside from Sister Sister, Kenan and Kel was a firm favourite. I spent way too much time asking if people liked Orange Soda.

Emma from Ready Freddie Go! said; The Brittas Empire-“COLINNN“!

Clare from Clare’s Little Tots said;  I used to love staying up and watching the comedy shows on BBC on Friday night – Red Dwarf, Shooting Stars, Fast Show etc….then they’d be followed by Newsnight which I thought was a comedy as well for a long while!

Elaine from Entertaining Elliot said; I loved a bit of teenage angst and my absolute favourite show was My So Called Life – I fancied the pants off Jared Leto and had posters of him all over my wall!! Heartbreak High was another fave, never used to go out with my mates on a Tuesday evening as I was too busy catching up with that!

Emma from Devon Mum said; Has to be Fresh Prince of Bel-Air or Buffy the Vampire Slayer. They used to be on one after the other and I would not do anything until I’d watched them. I still love watching them now, you can’t beat the comedy in fresh prince and as for Buffy, I don’t know many people who didn’t have a crush on either Angel or Spike when they were younger lol!

Raimy from Readaraptor Hatchling said; “Have you ever, ever felt like this? Like strange things are happening? Like you’re going round the twist?
Round the Twist was ace, not sure why I loved it so much, maybe it was the catchy theme tune!

Kelly from School Run Shop said;  I loved comedy such as Vic and Bob and the Mary Whitehouse Experience. My friends and I knew (and used) all the catchphrases often. How annoying we must have been!

Janet from Falcondale Life said; Star Trek the Next Generation! I was sceptical before the series started because the original was such a classic. But Captain Jean Luc Picard just nailed it and the story-lines were completely thrilling. I was especially freaked out by the Borg.

Laura from Autumn’s Mummy said; 90’s kid’s TV was just SO good, but SM:TV Live was one of my most favourites! Every Saturday morning I’d watch it with my parents and eagerly await Pokemon. Chums (Ant, Dec and Cat’s version of Friends) was brilliant, Wonky Donkey was so funny and I loved Anty and Decky the garden goblins!

So, did you see any of your favourites in here?  What others were yours!?  Let me know in the comments section below!
