Today’s post marks my 200th blog!!!
I literally cannot believe I’ve written that many blogs! I’ve spent the last couple of days nosing back at some of my posts-some aren’t amazing, but I like to keep them all to remind me where I started.
The opportunities I’ve been given, and have worked towards this last couple of years, are sometimes unbelievable! There are plenty more to come, and I won’t be stopping any time soon!
Working with companies, regardless of whether they’re big or small-and the lovely PR people I’ve met (one in person), reminds me how lucky I am to have this talent for writing!
I really enjoy what I do, regardless of how many people read my posts, regardless of who has whatever opinion on my “job”.
I’ve also made some awesome blogger friends throughout my journey so far-and decided to give a shout-out to all of the lovelies I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know-maybe you could pop over and have a nose at their awesome work too!
Alex from https://bettertogetherhome.com is the first blogger I met at a press event in London. We’ve since met up again in London, and are set to see each other in just two weeks for our third event! She’s a travel and lifestyle blogger, with an incredible eye for photos (you can also pop over to her Instagram to see those!)
Clare from http://www.neonrainbowblog.co.uk/ is one of my oldest friends. I first encountered my Clarey Fairy over on the Wedding Forum of Bounty, when we (along with some other lovely ladies), were planning our weddings. We’re both now bloggers, supporting each other through the highs and lows (and stresses) of our new jobs as writers. Starting as a weight loss blogger (seriously check out her pictures), she now writes about lifestyle subjects including her son’s Autism.
Helen from http://www.allthebeautifulthings.co.uk/ is just amazing. At times her job as a nurse has spilled over into our messages to each other, when I’ve needed advice she’s always there to help! Additionally to that, and most importantly, she’s an incredible blogger. Versatile in her content and subject, she writes about parenting, lifestyle subjects and reviews.
Gemma from http://somewhereaftertherainbow.co.uk/ is basically me in another body (a much prettier one!) I LOVE her InstaStories, they crack me up, and I really resonate with her and her blog posts. She’s an incredible Mummy to her brood of three, but also an proud Mummy to an angel, which, as those of you who follow my stories, will know is obviously a life event we both share. Beautiful vlogs, and beautiful photos-this lovely lady really is one to follow.
Nyomi from http://nomipalony.com (which I’ll be honest, I still don’t know how to say), is one of the funniest, real women I follow. Recently nominated for a UK Blog Award (that she should’ve won in my opinion), her website content, including her vlogs are beyond brilliant. I’m a stickler for a great accent, and being from the North East, her InstaStories probably sound even funnier than she means them to because of her awesome accent! (She’s also got the best hair)!
Finally, Sarah from http://runjumpscrap.com/. Now, me and Sarah, haven’t talked a large amount, but I follow her InstaStories and blogs closely. She’s a lot more into fitness and scrap-booking than I am, but I do feel I relate to her life a little more than I do with some other people I follow. Her two adorable daughters and husband are frequently featured in her posts, and what she posts is real and true to life.
I’m so grateful, not only to these awesome ladies, for being, well, just that-awesome, but also to many many other bloggers
and contacts I’ve made along the way!
This may be the 200th blog, but it’s not anywhere near the end for me-I’m not done with this ol’ writing lark!
For now, I’ll just say a great big THANK YOU to everyone who’s supported me so far!
