Today is day 11 of Blogtober 2017, and the theme is…….Kitchen!
My kitchen is unfortunately not officially mine. We live in a rented house, and most of our fixtures and fittings are integrated (which I do still love by the way). I especially love my dishwasher and tumble dryer (which is mine) and literally couldn’t imagine life without them-let alone remember what life was like prior to having them!
When I was younger-I used to dream about my first home, and what would be in it. I’d spend hours, searching the Argos catalogue, choosing my future products, in a “money is no issue” situation.
So-today’s theme of “Kitchen” is a really easy one. Let me take you around my dream kitchen, using the power of the Argos website, and internet links!
MFB’s Dream Kitchen Wishlist.
Yep-it’s a WIFI dishwasher. I LOVE technology-and just the mere thought of not only being able to control my appliance with my phone, but also receiving notifications when the salt or rinse aid is running low, is my idea of HEAVEN.
One of the biggest dishwashers on the market currently, this contraption allows you to clean up to 176 items in one wash load-something that would basically mean our cupboards would be bare-I genuinely don’t think we have that many items in our kitchen!
I mean, I think you can see a theme emerging here-next up is only a WIFI Washing Machine.
From the same make as the dishwasher (Hoover), this 13kg washing machine, apparently holds up to 65 shirts, or 13 towels (really who’s got 65 shirts).
Again, you can control the machine from your phone, and it sends you notifications relating to the status of your wash.
What I really love about this appliance, is that it weighs the amount of clothes you put in within the first four minutes of the cycle, and adjusts the washing time accordingly-saving so much electricity!
Unfortunately there isn’t a WIFI tumble dryer (seriously-up your game Hoover).
However, I have had a fair few tumble’s in my time, and by far the best kind is a condenser. Although this one is a little (a lot) more expensive than mine was, it’s identical in size and design.
The condenser means you don’t have to have an unsightly hose sticking out of the window, and these types of machines, have so many different settings, there’s very little chance you’ll shrink anything!
Russell Hobbs Wine Cooler £516.99 (link)
These are literally my most wanted item-not this expensive obviously-I’m not picky, but seriously-you know you’ve made it in life when you a) have a wine cooler, and b) have enough wine to put into a wine cooler.
This one holds 36 wine bottles (oh god imagine the wine choice), and has two different temperatures, so you can store red and white wine, at the same time, in the same cooler, at their advised storage temperatures!
Who doesn’t want a see-through toaster. Seriously, who?
Before I started blogging, I made cakes-not professionally, but for family birthdays and celebrations. One of the reasons I stopped, was because I didn’t have a proper mixer. I now have one-a cheap version from a supermarket-and I still don’t bake much, because it’s no good.
