I was kindly sent two boxes of cereal, from nature’s path, to try OUT, and review alongside my new fitness regime!
Who are NATURE’S PATH?
A family-run, passionately independent, sustainably-driven, deliciously-healthy organic food company, Nature’s Path were started in 1985. They’re family run, and are committed to involving, organic-only recipes made from enthusiastically rooting around nature’s abundant larder to unearth the finest available ancient grains, fruit and nuts.
What was I sent?
I actually don’t particularly like coconut or honey, so I didn’t hold out tons of hope for either box of cereal!
Luckily, they were both really delicious-the coconut is definitely balanced well with the cocoa, and the honey isn’t as sweet as I’d assumed it wold be. (Even better, they don’t go majorly soggy!)
This whole grain, organic, gluten-free and dairy-free cereal is made with sprouted grains and chia seeds and comes in two tasty flavours, Honey & Chia and Cocoa & Coconut.
In Superflakes, Nature’s Path uses sorghum flour, black bean flour and brown rice flour – which are all made from nutrient-rich sprouted grains.
Working alongside sprouted grains are chia seeds and cocoa, which also provide a beneficial breakfast boost. Chia seeds are high in ALA Omega-3 Fatty Acids, fibre and magnesium, while cocoa contains iron and antioxidants.
Where can you get yours?
Superflakes are available from; Abel & Co, Asda, Booths, Coop, Sainsburys, Morrisons, Nisa, Ocado, Tesco, Waitrose and Whole Foods!
