If you’re anything like me, you’ll have washing coming out of your ears. Genuinely, I can’t work out, how the children go through so many items of clothing-especially considering my son wears a school uniform five days a week!
So when BritMums challenged us to put Ecover’s New Non Bio Laundry Detergent to the test, I thought, hey-whatever makes my life easier!
Ecover’s new Non-Bio Concentrated Laundry Detergent promises to deliver a powerful clean-this dermatologically tested, plant-based Non-Bio formula delivers spotlessly clean results, even on a cold wash.
Pioneering a greener clean since 1979, Ecover’s new Non-Bio formula is now even tougher on stains, but just as kind on sensitive skin and is now Mumsnet rated* with 89% of Mumsnet raters saying they would recommend to a friend – making it the perfect partner for all the family, as well as the planet.
The detergent we were sent was actually fragranced with Lavender and Sandalwood-for some reason I’d always associated Ecover with being fragrance free. Fresh, nice smelling clothes are an absolute must for me, I love clothes that smell clean, just as much as I love clothes that look clean!
I probably do a wash every other day, and the contents of my machine really depend on whether the kids are at nursery/school, hubs has been to work, etc.
I don’t actually mind doing the washing, but putting the tons of it away, is something I loathe!!!
The main challenges I face with regards to getting the clothes washed, is the speed in which I can do so. I love a ‘quick wash’, but you don’t often find detergents that manage to clean sufficiently on a quick wash! It’s especially important that my husband’s work clothes, and my son’s school clothes are properly clean-my Husband is a manager who works closely with his colleagues throughout the day, and I like to make sure my Son and Daughter always looks presentable at school and nursery.
Ecover manages all of the above-I’m able to wash on a quick cool wash, and it smells incredible!
Based on cleaning quality, and fragrance, I would definitely recommend Ecover to friends-but for those who are looking for a cheaper brand, this one probably isn’t for them.
