Having a clearout? Ebay it! Selling on Ebay is easier than you think!
It’s almost October-and almost Christmas! If you’re anything like me, you’re getting ready to sort through last years clothes that no longer fit, kids toys, and general bits ‘n’ bobs you’ve accumulated since your last “sort out”.
That’s where Ebay comes in! Do you know how easy it is to sell on ebay?!
Take a look at this.
As you can see from the above video, using the Ebay selling feature on the computer/laptop, couldn’t be easier! Everything you need to know is explained throughout, and there are always helpful guides and tips, so you can make the most of your listing-enabling you to interest more people in your item!
The selling feature isn’t restricted to a laptop/computer. The Ebay app on my iPhone is just as simple-and I actually found it quicker to use-which is handy, as I have tons to sell!
As you can see here-I have already got my previous item listed-which is why it reads as ‘1 active’. This is the first screen you see when clicking the ‘sell’ option, when using the iPhone Ebay app.
The next screen is where you add your description.
The category sets itself, but you have the option to change it, if you think any of it is incorrect. You then choose to ‘Start a listing with this title’.
You can now add photos-on the Ebay app, it allows you to add up to 12 photos for free!
I have added the picture of the item I am selling here.
Here you have the choice to change the item specifics, and to add a description.
Here is the pricing page-where you can edit the amount you’d like your auction to start at-and additional options to add a “buy it now” price, and to change how long you will run the auction for.
This is the postage screen-here you can continue with the recommended postage cost, or change it to your own amount.
You can choose to automatically relist your item if it doesn’t sell on this screen. You then have the option to preview your auction, or to list straight away.
Here is the preview of my item! I’m happy with how it looks so click ‘list’!
And there we have it-the final screen is the confirmation that you’ve listed your item!
So there we have it-so super easy (and fast)! Before you know it you’ll be raking in the pennies* for your unwanted goods, (and your house will thank you for all the lovely space)!

I was asked to review the selling feature for Mumsnet and Ebay, in return for paypal credit and a voucher.
However, my opinions on this review are my own, and unbiased.
