Recently, I received a press release from a company called Reroom. I always have a little mooch on the press releases, but never really respond to interior design/home interior releases, because I haven’t really covered that kind of genre on my website before.
It occured to me however, that before I wrote about most of the topics I cover, I hadn’t written about them before-each genre and subject has to start somewhere, and I realised Reroom were the perfect company to start with.
You guys know me by now-you know I’m all for female solidarity-girls and women being there for each other, in a world that is unfortunately still dominated by the opposite sex.
However, I’m also very much into advocating parental solidarity-parents being there for other parents-without judgement, bringing only positivity, advice, help and, well, just being there for each other (regardless of sex). Continue reading
Look, a small disclaimer before we start-I know I may be in the minority with this one-but I really struggle with my boy going off to school trips on his own without me-I always have, and I reckon I always will.
This became most apparent when I found out last term that my Son’s school were taking him to London for the day this month to see a show.
TODAY MY Boy TURNS 8!
Last september, i wrote about miss olivia’s birth story, on her 4th birthday, after realising I’d never told it before. i’ve also never told kye’s!
this not-so-little guy, doesn’t realise it now, but he’s the reason i’m who i am today-he was my reason to get up, to carry on, when the going got seriously tough.
SO HERE YOU ARE my gorgeous boy-here’s the story of you, and it begins in 2009……
Today is the 28th of January-which is also known as my Husband’s Birthday-his 32nd this year!
When prepping my work for this month, and getting his presents and Birthday plans sorted, I realised I’ve never used my website to tell the story of us (me and Hubs, not you and I dear reader).
So, what better day to tell it, than on the day we celebrate another year of his life!
For those of you that didn’t catch my news on my facebook page last week, Mayflower Blogs has had a little makeover! A new website design and layout are the main feature, but there are also some new topics added that are going to be quite prominent in 2018.
One of which, is the Education tab.
I write a lot about my Son and Daughters education over on my social media platforms, and am keen to make writing about their progression and learning journeys here on the website a lot more this year.
I’m beginning with the importance of teaching children about saving the rainforests-which is coinciding with Kyes term three topic at his primary school. Continue reading
I’m not a newbie to this PNP lark-we actually use this service every year, giving the children their own personalised videos from the man in red himself.
This year however, I was asked to write a review on the service, and introduce some new options for the video personalisation, and even show you some merchandise that is now available!
Are you a Disney fan?
Do you have children that are Disney fans?
Then, you’re in for a treat, as Disney presents Passport To Adventure-a fun filled tour of music and imagination for you and your little ones (and not so little ones!) Continue reading
I know it’s Christmas-a time for magic, happiness, excitement and love. And I don’t want to put a downer on you, my lovely readers, at Christmas, but I also don’t think pretending mine is full of the above is normal either.
If I’m honest, this post has been a long time coming, and, if no one else reads it, I’ll at least get it all off of my chest and out of my head.
The point of this post, is basically that I am grieving for a Mother who is still alive, which isn’t a new feeling-it’s not a new grief, it’s something I’ve been processing for a long time-four years to be precise. Continue reading
